Halloween Donut Recipe

We love a good donut and these are some of the best we’ve ever done. They’re so moist and fluffy, perfect for Fall entertaining or a Halloween party. They’re sure to be a hit with both kids and adults! The best part is that they are very easy to make.

Ingredients

Donut ingredients:

• 1 Cup "00" Flour
• ⅓ Cup sugar
• 1 tsp Cake yeast
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter melted
• 1 large egg
• ⅓ Cup (+ 1 ½) tbsp whole milk
• 1 tsp pure vanilla extract or 1 packet vanillina

Vanilla donut icing ingredients:

• 4 Cup powdered sugar
• 1 tbsp clear corn syrup
• ½ Cup whole milk
• 1 tsp clear vanilla extract or 1 packet vanillina
• Orange Gel Food Coloring

Decorating ingredients:

• Black bat-shaped sprinkles
• Ghost-shaped candies

How to make Halloween Doughnut 
Preheat your oven to 350 °F degrees and spray a donut baking pan with pam baking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, butter, and vanilla extract.
Combine the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Spoon batter into donut pan and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 6 minutes before removing and placing the donuts onto a wire cooling rack.
Repeat steps until all batter is used.

Icing Directions:
Using a standing mixer, combine the powdered sugar, corn syrup, milk and vanilla extract and mix on medium to high speed until smooth and thick.
Add a few drops of orange gel food coloring to the bowl and set aside.

Decorating directions:
Place donuts onto a wire rack and carefully pour the orange icing onto the donuts. Sprinkle the candies on the donut glaze right away.
Let dry completely before enjoying!
