Better Packaging for Cheese Product

Although the cheese was edible ( and delicious) my wife thought that it should have been packaged with some kind of thermal-aid to prevent spoiling, it was very soft and at first wasn't sure if edible...but I bought a Primo Sale before and it was wonderful. So, 5 Stars on the product itself ( which I will purchase again ) but only 3 stars on packaging. Expedite shipping is just too expensive, so I will still use the Standard , but let's hope in the future to improve method for spoilable stuff expecially in summer days. All in all I'm still a fan of Pinocchio and will make more purchases!

Regarding the packaging, we do use insulated bags and ice bricks to help maintain the freshness of our products throughout most of their journey. It's normal for the ice packs to warm towards the end of delivery. We recommend transferring perishable items to your refrigerator immediately upon arrival.

Additionally, we encourage monitoring your shipment with the provided tracking number, especially for perishable goods, to ensure they are moved indoors promptly. While expedited shipping is recommended during warmer months for perishables, we understand concerns about cost and appreciate your preference for standard shipping. Poor packaging resulted in a blob of melted cheese.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience. In order to avoid this issue, we always recommend expedited shipping for all perishable food products on the product page, on our shipping policy, and lastly on the final checkout page before the order is placed. The reason that we do not require expedited shipping, as you suggested, is because many customers prefer to use standard shipping, especially when it is not their first order and they know that it arrives quickly, depending on where they are located. It would seem unfair to us to require a much more expensive shipping method if the customer prefers a slower and less costly method. We leave this up to the customer, however we are very clear about how much we recommend expedited shipping as it is the ONLY way that we can guarantee the ultimate freshness of the product.
