HOW TO PREPARE PISTACHIO ICE CREAM WITHOUT THE USE OF AN ICE CREAM MAKER
To prepare pistachio ice cream without an ice cream maker, start with the syrup
STEP 1 - pour the sugar and the water into a saucepan and turn over a low-heat flame.
STEP 2 - In the meantime, pour both the milk and the heavy cream into a jug. As soon as the syrup comes to a boil, turn off the heat and let it cool.
STEP 3 - Pour the syrup into the milk and the cream mixture.
STEP 4 - Blend everything with an immersion blender.
STEP 5 - Transfer into a silicone mold and put it in the freezer for at least 1 night.
STEP 6 At this point, remove the cubes from the mold and transfer them to a food processor. Blend everything until you get a creamy mixture.
STEP 7 - add Campo d’Oro’s Pistachio Butter and blend again until you get a smooth cream. Transfer to a container (preferably aluminum, ceramic or glass. Avoid plastic) and put in the freezer for at least another 6 hours.
When it is time to serve it, remove it from the freezer 5-10 minutes before and mix it with a spoon until you obtain a creamy Ice cream.
To obtain an even creamier consistency, you can pass the ice cream back into the mixer with the blades.
Keep the pistachio ice cream in the freezer and consume within a few days.
You can also make Almond gelatos using our special Agrisicilia Almond Cream. Try adding some chocolate chips on the top for decoration.
The perfect Italian gelato is now ready to serve. Enjoy it in hot summer days with family and friends!
